Doing a job? Feeling dissatisfied or unfulfilled? But why?

It's all about  self expression and learning.

Either in your job you are able to freely express yourself through your work, or you are enjoying learning under someone really superior than you (not just by organisational position but by intellectual means). That means you are enjoying what you are doing. And your job is emotionally fulfilling.

On the other hand, if you are not learning, or not given chance for self expression through your work. Your job starts feeling like a emotional burden. Then it may be a time to look for better self expression opportunities and learning possibilities.
